Musical Show Tonight

My friend, Annie is on stage today! She is a member of MAPA (Maui Academy of Performing Arts) and a great singer and actor! We have seen her performances a few times and we loved them all. MAPA is a group of armature performers on Maui. However, their performances are very professional, all the members are great singers, beautiful dancers and wonderful actors.


This time, they show us a Musical Cinderella. You may think it is only for kids but Annie said people in all ages can enjoy the show.

Cinderella ~ Playing at the Steppingstone Playhouse, Queen Ka'ahumanu Center.
May 29th to June 7th. Friday & Saturday 7:30 pm, Saturday & Sunday 2 pm & 4 pm.

今夜は私の友達、アニーが出演するミュージカルを見に行きます。MAPAは、アマチュアの劇団なんですが、彼らのパフォーマンスはプロ顔負け。いつも、ショウのクオリティの高さに驚かされます。今回は、”シンデレラ”。アニー曰く、子供から大人まで楽しめるショウだそうです。楽しみです。

    Review: Musical Cinderella
    It was funny. Great for kids, also fun for their parents! A modern version of Classic Cinderella - the Fairy God Mother has a personal assistant with a i Pod kind small computer to manage her schedule. Her recent client was Beyonce for her People Choice Award red carpet. People in the kingdom are able to check their Royal Family news on TV and You Tube. The Prince is a kind of geek, wearing glasses and checking his Twitter whole day...I was so impressed Fairy God Mother's Magic!
